Social Media is good for the world

Social media has empowered people to instantly share, express and communicate in a variety of ways using media (text, audio, pictures, video). Often with just a click Users can vote your product up or down.

More than that the ninety percenters o the users who are listening - and making decisions on the social media conversations. These people are totally ignoring traditional mediums.

I think this shift is good for the world. Companies will be forced to make socially responsible products and services. That means any product or social service that does not meet basic social requirements(price, service, utility, warranty, satisfaction, environment, human,etc) and needs will be “flagged” in Social Media ecosystem. From there will start the journey - improvement of the product/service - or demise - depending on whether the company is listening or snoozing.
