NASA photo, video assets to be Digitized

NASA which has a 50 year archive of assets ( pictures, video - some analog) is embarking a project to digitize all it’s assets. The digital assets will be available through the Internet and free to the public, historians, scholars, students, and researchers.

Great news for all of us - digitization makes it very easy to archive and distribute knowledge over the web.

India and Internet Video

Dear All,

Sorry for the inactivity. This blog changed my life - made me move to India from the US.
I will be writing now - not daily though - along with Internet Video, Rich Media, etc I will also write my experience as a enterprenuer.

I am in Nagpur, India which is a great place - lot of Universities, Engineering colleges, etc.
Cost of doing business is low - that is why me and my partner are here.

In India - the hot things are Animation and MultiMedia. Most people have no idea about the impact of internet as a distribution platform for media. Poeple are very excited when we speak to them about the tsunami wave internet video is causing in various industries in the US and Europe.

Anyway, TeleZent will also be providing training in Rich Media. We are in talks with a Eng Institute to set up a program for them. That will serve us well - generate ongoing revenue stream for us, create awareness , we will hire some of the trainees. We plan to set up a dedicated team in skills like Flash CS3, Adobe Pre Pro - which we would need inhouse for our content creation. We will monetize the team as well - for consultancy and outsourcing services as well.

Things in India get done - but move a bit slow. But I am enjoying a lot, learning a lot. The road to enterprenuership is challenging - but this is what me and my partner learned
