Made For Mobile Films

Creative talent, technology firms and top Hollywood and Bollywood participated at the 3GSM World Congress in Barcelona (12-15 Feb 2007).

They are sharing their visions for “made for mobile films”. For directors the transition from 30ft wide screen to 2inch is not simple - requires a lot of learning and experimentation. There are things you cannot do on a 2 inch screen. Nevertheless - it is happening - nobody wants to miss out - the mobile market which might be huge. The mobile phone is another delivery system-and youngsters are confortable with it.

The Sundance Institute premiered five made-for-mobile short films at the world’s largest mobile communications exhibition where much of the spotlight has been on mobile entertainment.
